At a time where the internet decides visibility, diversity online is incredibly important. Tricha launched a project to create South Asian GIFs: online “stickers” that authentically represent Indian cultures. In the first month, the inaugural launch of 5 Bhangra GIFs reached over one million views internationally.

TrichGIFs are the internet’s first-ever widely accessible GIF series that accurately portray South Asian dress, dance, and culture. Currently, over 100 Bhangra, Bharatanatyam, and Garba TrichGIFs are available on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and more!
