Victory at St. Xavier’s Malhar

St. Xavier’s College, a prominent educational institution located in Mumbai, approached Tricha to choreograph a competitive Bhangra performance for the Folk Dance Competition at Malhar.

In just five short weeks of training, Tricha’s team of six young women learned Bhangra from scratch, learned a competitive routine, and practiced daily outdoors in the summer and monsoon weather. At the competition, they placed FIFTH out of over 25 teams in the preliminary round. Wish them luck as they prepare for the final 8 competition.
