Judging a Virtual Dance Competition

This year, Tricha was invited to virtually judge Aamod’s Lavani dance competition. Lavani is a Maharashtrian folk dance form that is usually performed to the beats of a dholak (2-sided drum). 

This is the second year in a row that Tricha has participated in Aamod, a cultural festival held by the 97-year-old Marathi Vangmay Mandal at St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai. The festival celebrates Marathi culture through student showcases of different Marathi art forms, performances, and competitions.
